MS Hifz Academy’s 7th Dastaar Bandi Ceremony
106 Students Honored for Completing the Memorization of the Holy
A Blessed Celebration on Independence Day
Memorizing the Holy Qur’an is among the greatest blessings for Muslims. To celebrate this honor, MS Hifz Academy organized its 7th Dastaar Bandi (convocation and turban-tying) ceremony on Independence Day, presenting a new batch of Huffaz before the community. The event held at Kings Palace, Gudi Malkapur, Mehdipatnam, 106 total — 70 boys and 36 girls, 9th batch of Huffaz felicitated.
Distinguished Scholars and Esteemed Guests
The event was graced by eminent Islamic scholars, including:
- Hafiz & Qari Dr. Mohammed Naseeruddin Manshawi (Khatib, Jama Masjid Aaliya, Gunfoundry)
- Maulana Ahmed Abdullah Tayyab Qasmi (Nazim, Madaris Ishaatul Khair, Telangana & Andhra Pradesh)
- Hazrat Maulana Mohammed bin Abdul Rahim Ban Naeem (Vice President, Majlis-e-Ilmiya, Telangana & Andhra Pradesh)
They congratulated the Huffaz and advised them to preserve their lifelong connection with the Qur’an.
Guidance from MS Leadership
Dr. Mauzam Hussain, Managing Director, congratulated the parents and encouraged the students to balance their Hifz with regular education. He highlighted success stories of MS graduates who excelled in SSC and Intermediate exams and are now pursuing higher studies in Medicine and Engineering at IITs and other prestigious institutions.
Anwar Ahmed, Managing Director, recalled that MS Founder & Chairman, Mohammed Lateef Khan, trained under world-renowned memory expert Tony Buzan. Drawing on that expertise, MS Hifz Academy developed a unique curriculum and methodology that enables students to complete Hifz faster. The Academy aims to prepare 10,000 Huffaz by 2036 and currently operates 10 branches across Hyderabad and Delhi.
He also emphasized that holding the Dastaar Bandi on Independence Day honors the sacrifices of Islamic scholars in India’s freedom movement.

A Remarkable Achievement
“The mission of MS Hifz Academy is not just to produce Huffaz, but to prepare upright young individuals who live by the Qur’an and guide society. Alhamdulillah, this year 106 students completed their Hifz. Among them, the most remarkable is Afia Anam, who memorized the entire Qur’an in just eight months.”
Since the Academy’s establishment in 2016, a total of 477 students have completed Hifz, and this caravan will, Insha’Allah, continue to grow in the coming years.

For this special occasion, separate stage arrangements with proper hijab were made for female students, ensuring their dignified participation.
A Heartfelt Conclusion
The ceremony concluded with a moving dua by Maulana Ahmed Abdullah Tayyab Qasmi, praying for the preservation of the Huffaz and the progress of the Muslim Ummah.
