MS Hifz Academy Celebrates 6th Dastaar Bandi Ceremony
Honors 71 Students who completed the Memorization of the Holy Quran
The 6th Dastaar Bandi Ceremony of the MS Hifz Academy celebrated the achievements of 71 students who successfully memorized the Holy Quran. This event marked the eighth graduating batch of the academy. During the ceremony, MS Education Academy honored the students by awarding certificates and mementos to 46 boys and 25 girls who completed their Quran memorization. The ceremony was held on the eve of 15th August 2024 at Metro Classic Garden, Aramghar Cross Road, Hyderabad.
On this occasion, Hazrat Maulana Abu Talib Rahmani, a special guest and a member of All India Muslim Personal Law Board, congratulated the students, teachers, and parents of MS Hifz Academy. He endorsed the efforts of their parents and teachers who helped the students to complete the memorization of the Holy Quran. In this ceremony, a separate stage with a curtain was arranged for the recognition of 25 (Hafizat) girls, under the Supervision of MS Vice-Chairperson Nuzhat Sofi Khan.
Students with the best academic records were honored with the Hazrat Uthman bin Affan Award. Additionally, those who memorized the entire Quran in one sitting received a special recognition. Mementos were also presented to boys and girls who maintained perfect attendance throughout the school year.

Maulana Abu Talib Rahmani commended the efforts of MS Education Academy, highlighting that the institution is fulfilling a vital role by providing both modern and religious education to the children of the Ummah. He expressed confidence that these efforts will produce excellent results in the future. He also stressed the importance of promoting education to enrich the country’s cultural heritage.
MS Education Academy’s Founder & Chairman Mohammed Lateef Khan addressed the Dastar Bandi Ceremony. He said that the Dastar Bandi program is held annually on the eve of Independence Day to honor the sacrifices of religious scholars in the freedom struggle. He further highlighted the unique teaching approach of MS Hifz Academy, where students are trained in memorization using specialized memory techniques. To date, 371 students have successfully completed their memorization at MS Hifz Academy.
During the ceremony, students showcased a variety of vibrant performances, including naat, nazm, and qirat, for an audience primarily consisting of parents, teachers, and scholars. The event was also broadcast live on the MS Education Academy’s YouTube Channel. Maulana Mufti Naeem Qasmi Director of MS Hifz Academy presented the detailed prospectus of the academy.
The ceremony was organized under the chairmanship of Maulana Mohammed Abdul Rahim Baneem, Vice President of Majlis-e-Ilmiyah Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Maulana Ghiyas Ahmad Rashadi, President of Safa Baitul Mal India also addressed the students and motivated them.
