MSians win 28 prizes at National & Regional Science Fair

Hyderabad: This year Msians got remarkable achievement in science fair competitions, both at regional as well as national level competitions at regional science fair they won 19 prizes and at national level they bagged 9 prizes.

“Our students won 19 prizes out of total 27 prizes awarded at 11th Regional Science Fair held at University College of Engineering, Osmania University. They also won 9 prizes at the 2nd MFERD National Science Fair held in Bangalore in November”, informed Sadia Samreen, MS Research Foundation.

The projects of our students attracted the attention of judges and won their accolades. Over 155 projects were displayed from various city schools and colleges under three categories 1) Life Science, 2) Physical Science and 3) Environmental Science and our students won prizes in all the three categories.

Dozens of city schools participated in the Science Fair and displayed their research projects”. The Vice Chancellor of OU Professor S. Ramchnadram inaugurated the Fair- a platform for the young Scientist to showcase their research in Science and Engineering projects.

Dr. Qazi S. Azhar, Associate Clinical professor, Michigan State University (USA) came all the way from US to promote scientific temperament and inquisitiveness among the school students.
