MSians pay visit to Old Age Home
Hyderabad: As part of their philanthropic service, SSC appearing students of MS paid visits to Aramghar Old Age Home at Shivrampally this week and spent some fruitful time with the boarders. Students went there in small batches and took some goodies with them for distribution. Through this small act, MSians tried to bring cheers on the face of these old abandoned people for a day.
During this visit, students interacted with some of the dwellers and patiently listened to their stories. They also saw the living conditions of these people and felt their pain and agony. Seeing the pathetic situation and loneliness of the boarders, the students got emotional. Their stories made them wept, and some of the students cried.
The objective of this visit is to inculcate empathy among the students and teach them the passion for rendering service to humanity. For the past few years, students appearing to SSC examination pay a visit to old age home before the commencement of their SSC examination. They also take their blessings.
Such visits make students more god-fearing and inclined towards Allah (SWT). They realise the blessings of Allah (SWT) and become thankful to Almighty Allah (SWT). The management secured permission for these visits and provided all the logistics.
