Six World Teen Parliamentarians Meet TS Home Minister
Elected MPs of WTP are the students of MS Creative School
Six students of MS Creative School elected for representation in the UNESCO-backed prestigious World Teen Parliament met the Home Minister of Telangana Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali at his residence in Ministers Quarters, Banjara Hills and they were accompanied by Senior Management of MS.
On this occasion, Senior Director Dr. Mohammed Moazzam Hussain, Academic Director Dr. Syed Hameed and Ms. Fouzia Farooq Asst. Director CADD were present. Six elected Teen MPs were introduced to honourable Home Minister by Dr. Mohammed Moazzam Hussain and he also highlighted the efforts of MS due to which six students were elected to the World Teen Parliament.
The meritorious students are: Mohammed Abdul Muqeet, Afifa Mehek, Faqiha Tasneem, Yasmeen Shaikh, Syeda Anwar Banu and Daniya Nazreen. Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Home Minister TS has spoken to these Teen MPs in this meeting which lasted for about half an hour, he also discussed the students about their projects, he was impressed by the ideas of the students and the projects presented by them to improve the present state of the world and to make it a better place to live. The Minister expressed happiness at their achievements and spoke a few motivated words and also extended his best wishes for their future.
Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali appreciated the efforts of MS Education Academy for imparting modern education simultaneously with value-based education to students. He praised the discipline ambience of MS and the ethics of students due to which they are successful at different national and international forums.
Dr. Mohammed Moazzam Hussain said that these students of MS Creative School, have got the honour of being elected in the World Teen Parliament after a tough competition. He said that the selected youth MPs will be trained, mentored and funded to act on their ideas by WTP. Every month they will have the opportunity to interact with prominent world leaders, corporations, government representatives and important people around the globe.
It should be noted that these students of MS Creative School are among the 100 members (MP) elected globally this year for the World Teen Parliament 2023. MS Creative School has the privilege of being the only institution in Telangana whose students are elected in this year. It should be noted that last year (2022) as well, four students of MS got the honor of being member of World Teen Parliament.
Dr. Syed Hameed, Academic Director of MS Education Academy, said that this year also thousands of students from all over the world participated in the online competition for 100 seats of WTP and 6 students of MS Creative School are among them. The success of MS students in this prestigious competition for two consecutive years is appreciable. Students selected for the World Teen Parliament will be allowed to participate in online workshops with internationally renowned personalities and eminent legislators, including parliamentarians from India, UK and other countries.
He also informed that the experts who interacted with the MS students last year were, Indian Parliamentarian (MP) Shashi Tharoor and prominent bureaucrat and politician Kiran Bedi.
